Welcome to the website for WindHorse Farm Sport Horses. Our horse farm is located in the beautiful dairy farming community of Mt. Horeb about 12 miles from Madison, Wisconsin. We have converted a 100+ year old dairy farm to our horse farm. A great deal of energy and work has gone into updating, and yet preserving this farm. As anyone who has done this type of renovation realizes, it is and remains a work in progress. In addition to our farm, we also are private practice psychotherapists specializing in trauma treatment and human development. Our psychotherapy practice is also in the area of divorce. Additionally, we have been foster parents for 21 years. We utilize these experiences in the breeding and development of our horses.
Our goal as a breeder is to develop pinto sport horses that are very athletic, but also have outstanding temperament. We use a variety of stallions that we feel will complement our mares. We do not have breeding stallions to enable us to have more of a variety of gene pool.
